32 years ago you were born almost three weeks before due date. The doctor told me that you would probably come after due date, but you didn't have time to wait. You were active from the day you arrived.
You were walking already at 10 months, and your mum was very busy trying to keep up with you. Still you were sometimes too quick for her.
-It was this wasp you saw, that you needed to investigate - ouch.
-Then at the age of two you decided to try the stairs down without me, you almost made it all the way, but with only two steps left, you fell and broke your front tooth...
There was so much to explore and it had to happen fast.

As a child you were not afraid of anyone. Talking with the Captain when we were out flying was just the most natural thing for you. And he gladly showed you the whole cockpit.
And then it was this older lady that you stopped and talk to when we were on our way home. She said something I still remember:
-Your son is gonna be something one day.
Later you were busy playing badminton. You were below average at training ( they thought), but when they had a tournament you surprised them all by winning it. They could hardly believe it! All Peter needed was a challenge to show what he was made of.
You switched over to tennis and the competition was a lot tougher, but still you managed to become a very good competitive player. You loved tournaments and even managed to win some.

You were an expert in doing things fast.
Both in our business and when you worked at McDonald’s and gained some experience outside the family firm.
No one could compete with Pete when it came to how many cheeseburgers were made on shortest time.
You loved being challenged. That’s when you shone above the rest.
You have been an expert in stepping on people’s toes (I’ve heard you got that from me). I still remember when you called me to tell me that a collegue had reported you to the police for uttering “offensive opinions”. A police lady came to your job to warn you that this was “hate speech”, but you just couldn’t help yourself, it was so ludicrous that you just laughed and laughed, which made the police lady see red.
Then around 10 years ago you took up a new challenge.
Trying to change Europe has been your toughest challenge yet.
But you threw yourself into it, you were taking on the world with top confidence.
That's just Peter.
You don't know what stagefright is. Even if a King had visited you, you would have welcomed him as an old friend.
Today you are 32 years old, and for around 10 years you have been battling the leftie agenda by telling the world how Sweden your home country has changed.
I asked you the other day what you think you have accomplished these 10 years. You replied that you hoped other countries would look at Sweden and learn something from it.
So now my hope is that you will take on a new challenge…
Before you were born, I had a bad infection. I was afraid that I would lose you as it was early in the pregnancy, so I promised God that if He kept you safe, I would give you to Him.
My hope is that you fulfill my promise to God, and work to promote His cause and His Kingdom.
Because in the end, politics doesn’t matter.
The only thing that matters is that on that great day when we all have to look into Jesus’ eyes - you want to hear Him say - Well done.
Happy Birthday Pete
-Mamma

Such a beautiful tribute from a mother to her son on his birthday.
